Old Main Village is a very lovely place and everyone is so friendly and helpful. People go out of their way to be of service. Keith and his staff in dining services do such a great job providing a variety of delicious meals, and I haven’t eaten this well in years. The day trips are absolutely wonderful as they are entertaining, relaxing and educational.

I have also been blessed with wonderful neighbors, Duke and Digger. This 6’4” gentleman and his little dog, Digger, are always congenial and the best possible neighbors.

Most of all, I enjoy walking around this beautiful community which was created in a very historic building in Mankato. I truly enjoy my apartment and the views from my enormous windows.

A year and a half ago my Dr. recommended bone density medication because my levels were low. After reading about the side effects and talking to others I decided I didn’t want to take it. I had just started FIT [Functional Fitness] classes and decided I would start coming consistently because I knew exercise with weights would help. I just had my bone density checked again and it has improved. I am excited to see the results, and my Dr. no longer recommends medication! I feel these exercise classes have done much to improve my bone density.

Just wanted to say I was SO impressed when I stayed at Old Main to visit Mom. She ordered a lunch for me delivered to her apartment. It was wonderful! The apartment and complex was nice and quiet. Clean and beautiful. Truly is the right place for Mom. She thanks us over and over for finding a nice place for her to move. I wanted to say hello and thank you!
