James Todd is Associate Professor and Chair of Politics at Palm Beach Atlantic University, specializing in American government, constitutional law, and political history. Since 2015, he has contributed to local and national media, spoken for civic groups, and lectured for Florida’s Civics Seal of Excellence program. He holds a B.A. from Jacksonville State, a J.D. and Ph.D. from the University of Alabama, and recently published Why Do We Have a Constitution? (2023).
