Mankato, Minn. (August 29, 2025) – Old Main Village, a senior living community managed by The Goodman Group, hosted a State Fair celebration on August 20 for residents, their families, team members and guests to enjoy. The festive gathering included live music, games, entertainment and special visitors from The Goofy Goat Farm. In true state fair fashion, a variety of food was also served, including mini donuts, nachos, corndogs and cotton candy.

Once part of Minnesota State University, Mankato, Old Main Village continues to share its historic charm and standard of excellence with everyone it serves. The community’s deep roots in the local area inspired smiles, connection and fellowship for all who attended the event.

“Thank you to everyone who joined us at our Old Main Village State Fair,” said Karen Maker, executive director at the community. “Seeing the connection and togetherness this gathering brought to our residents and guests sparked so much joy. We are thankful for everyone that helped make this event special.”

Old Main Village is located in the heart of the city near museums, parks, walking trails and the Minnesota River. The community looks forward to welcoming individuals for future events and happenings.
